There must be something wrong with me that I thought of murder when I see this lovely bush of hydrangeas. That or too many detective dramas. This is actually a bad spot to hide a dead body as hydrangeas are one of the rare flowers that changes color according to soil acidity. So it's a dead giveaway if you buried something that is decomposing undernearth it. In fact an eposide in Conan exploited this very feature.
No this is not in uncle's garden, It is actually in another Aunty's garden, we were there for another cousin's 21st. I have only met this cousin once and I actually forgotten about him until Uncle told me to block off last Saturday for his 21st.
This uncle did experiment with different soil ph as can be seen in this pink hydrangeas.
Of course I immediately why didn't we plant some? Unfortunately our house is not conducive for this plant. It needs shade from the afternoon sun. I would love to play with the soil just to see how the flower changes color.
